I bought the Da Vinci Code, and in less than I week I read it. It was one those books you just couldn't put down. Before B left for Georgia, he bought me the Illustrated Edition. I wish I would have read this edition to help with all the pics, codes, and devices mentioned in the book. It was really interesting & I can't wait to see the movie. Felicia, if you're reading this....wanna go to the movies Friday?

I bought the pre-quel to the book which is Angels & Demons. I will probably start it next week. I am almost done with "Cracking Da Vinci's Code" which is about reasons the book isn't true (H E L L O.....don't we know what 'fiction' means).

I think it is just good entertainment........

I'm finally off to bed. It is so hard to sleep alone when you are so use to the one you love sleeping next to you. My daughter is spending the night, so I really need to quit complaining. Good night......I'll make sure to keep my blog up next time....... =)

Awesome Crop

Maria had this awesome crop at her house. She wanted everyone to bring a make 'n take and a fav snack. The night before the crop, we ended up going to Mesa to pick up last minute stuff for the crop. Talk about a power shopper......we hit three stores (including eating) in less than an hour........we had a great time, laughing our asses off.

I got to her house at about 3pm and Maria hooked it up, for real dough......she had every machine you can think of, sizzix, the new xyrons, cricut, all I can say is L U C K Y!!!!!!!

........I don't think we ever played with any of them.

There was Indian Fry Bread w/ all the fixins, Subs, Nachos, Cheesecake, a Chocolate Fountain with fruit, marshmallows & pretzels, chocolate, candy, all kinds of drinks & Strawberry Margaritas......It was off the hizzook......

We were a small, but fun crowd, laughing, cropping & teaching each other!!



Maria had prizes & thank you gifts for us. She really went all out......Big Shout out to "La Mary"..........she is an awesome hostess & a great friend!!!!

Here are some of the projects we worked on............everyone did a great job sharing ideas!!! I can't wait till the next one.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day started out a little sad. I had every intention of getting up early and going to church, but I wasn't feeling to good. I woke up in the middle of the night with a leg cramp and ended up staying in bed till about 3pm. Brian was the first to call to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. He called at about 8am and could tell I was making it a "sleep in" day. Josh called next and I was smiling so hard my gums were dry.

I went to B's parent's house for a cook-out and had a great time. We had Margarita's and by the third one, my wonderful children made it. I was so happy to spend this special day with them. I took pics on my phone to send to B & don't know how to load them to my computer. This is the only pic I have to post for Mother's Day.

I was at my lil bro's house babysitting my gorgeous niece. I took her for a walk around the block and when I was walking back to my bro's house, I realized how beautiful his yard is. He keeps his yard in tip-top condition. I never realized all the pretty flowers he had in his yard. I tried to take some "close-ups" of some of my favorites.......

Cinco de Mayo

B & I had a great Cinco de Mayo!!! We met up with some friends and ended up at Nando's. It was a long wait, but well worth it. I had never been there, and the food was delish. I didn't get pics of the gals because I thought my battery was dead, turns out my zoom is broken. My favorite pic of the evening is of the guys covering their eyes. They saw three camera's coming out and knew there would be scrapbooking going on.........

We had a shot of Patron Silver with a Corona chaser and that gave me a buzzzzz for at least an hour. Thanks again Odelia!!! B & I headed shopping for his party after dinner. Gracias amigas & amigos for making our Cinco de Mayo a memorable one!!!!!!

He's Gone =(

Been a while since my last post & have some things to share. Rather than bore my "3" readers, I decided to do several short posts (with pics) to share my happenings.

We had B's going away party and as you can see, B had a great time. He was home in bed by 1:00 am having some sweet dreams. He is gonna kill me for posting this.....

He left a week ago today =( We stayed in Phoenix the morning before he left and had a really romantic evening. We had a nice dinner and came back & had champagne & strawberries....yummy!!! The night flew by & we had to be up bright & early for B's 6:50am flight. Then he was off to Georgia...... The time difference is three hours, so he was texting me before I made it back home. I didn't feel like doing much of anything after I left the airport....I felt lost.



I can't believe how much I miss him. He calls me several times a day and is writing me letters all the time. I guess you never know how much you love someone till they're gone. I sent him a "care package" today and hopefully that will put a smile on his face.
