I'm full

Got home at 5:30pm from work & B told me his mom invited us to have dinner w/them & Father Cloud. As first, I just wanted to chill at home, but after thinking about it for a few minutes, thought it would be nice.

We ended up going to A&M, this yummy Italian Rest. in town & I had a great salad & spaghetti. I was nice to visit w/B's family & Father Cloud. Even though I felt so guilty for not going to Church in a long time, he makes you feel so comfortable. I did put my foot in my mouth.....a young man & his girlfriend stopped by our table to show off their newborn baby. They had just left the hospital & wanted to show Father Cloud their little one. After they left I said, "That was a beautiful baby". Father Cloud said, "I've never seen an ugly baby". I then immediately said, "I have". I wanted to die. I can't believe I said that!!!! I immediately told him I was joking. Shame on me.

After dinner........READY FOR THIS.......we met B's parents for a nightcap at ARTIE'S (a local bar). Now I smell like cigarette =/

That's all, just wanted to jot my thoughts down before I shower & go to sleep....I'm really tired tonight. Tomorrow I am suppose to meet some of my siblings & cousins for dinner & drinks in Maricopa. We'll see =)

This LSS (if I can call it that) LUCKY 15 had Heidi Swapp over to show her techniques. My friend Maira & I made the journey all the way from Florence to Phoenix even though we were both sick & should have been home resting.

For every $10 you spent, you received a ticket to be placed in a drawing for prizes. I had a total of 9 tickets, 5 of which I received when Yezenia came for a visit from CA, and the other 4 I received that night.

Although I didn't win the grand prize, I won a good prize. YAY for me!!!!!! I was so happy, but couldn't perform my famous happy dance because the place was to tiny & crowded & I felt crappy.

I had a date tonight

I have been soooo under the weather lately & today I finally started feeling better. My daughter called me this afternoon at work & asked if I would go grocery shopping w/her. Even though I didn't feel good I said yes (how could I say no, I went all the way to Phoenix yesterday to see Heidi Swapp). She wanted to go to Mesa, but then called later to say she would come to Florence & we would go to Coolidge (10 miles from my house---yippee).

Well, I guess there was tons of miscommunication because when she showed up at almost 6pm w/her boyfriend (don't care for him) she decided we were going to Mesa. I offered to drive because for those of you that know me know my daughter is driving an old hoopty right now.

We ended up ditching her bf & my daughter took me on a date. First stop, Scrapbooks Etc. I saw that Heidi had some new Bling & had to get it. Then we went to Joe's Crab Shack...I love that place. Here are some pics...

Just loved this shirt so took a pic.

I can't even explain how good it feels to let my daughter buy dinner. We had a great time tonight. We talked about so much & turned our cell phones off to ensure we gave each other full attention.

I came home with a full tum-tum, a couple of bags from Wal-Mart, & two beautiful plants for my living room courtesy of my beautiful daughter. But the most precious thing I came home with was my heart filled with happiness because of the time we shared tonight.

Been a While

I don't know why I let my blog "float on". It's been over a month since I blogged & lots has happened....enough to blog that is.

• been to an ASU game
• changed my pic on my blog

I may have left a few things out, but that's about it....will try to post some pics later by each item.
